Lori Hoddinott - a Canadian artist of Newfoundland descent - was born in 1962 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She was educated throughout Canada, including Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, and Ottawa. She left her family’s automotive business in 1992 to pursue instead her own creative visions, developing her painting, pyrography, sculpting and woodworking skills while raising a National award winning pedigreed herd of Scottish Highland Cattle. Her original artworks, limited-edition prints and sculptures are in public and private collections across North America, Europe, and Australia. She and her husband, Mark Fraser continue to reside on their historic farm in Renfrew County where they create painted works of art, sculptures, carvings, stained glass, and reproduction heritage furniture. Their creations are sold worldwide through their website as well as traditional venues.
The modern style of her paintings reflect a modern fantastical essence, the women featured are sultry in suggestion, the men strong and forward thinking. Alongside people of her own creation, she enjoys painting celebrities, politicians, and commissioned portraits.
Mark Fraser - a Canadian artist, was born in 1960 in New Brunswick. As an infant, he moved to Bolivia with family where his parents were assigned as missionaries. He returned to Canada with his family at the age of 14 and completed his education in Ottawa, Ontario. He pursued his own creative visions commencing employment in stage prop creating,  developing his woodworking, stained glass and miniature skills to a fine art. He has spent over 25 years working in the antique business, owning several antique stores, and refinishing antiques.  After years of studying antiques he has perfected reproducing the techniques and now builds his own heritage furniture true to the original styles and construction. His pieces are in public and private collections across North America, Europe, and Australia. He and his wife Lori Hoddinott continue to reside on their historic farm in Renfrew County where they have an onsite workshop & studio. Their creations are sold worldwide through their website as well as traditional venues.
